Branding & Design

Brand work that survives the launch. We build the strategy, identity, and system pieces, then hand off something your team can actually run with.

Overview

Branding & Design built for business.

Sapere Digital shapes authentic brand identities through thoughtful strategy, visual storytelling, and design systems that connect with audiences.

A brand is a working system, not a moodboard. We build the strategy piece first (who this is for, what it is not, the language it uses), then the identity, then the system pieces that let the brand show up consistently on the website, the deck, the OG image, the invoice. The reversed logo, the mobile splash, and the sticker sheet ship on day one, not week ten.

Approach

How we run a branding & design engagement.

  1. 01

    Discover

We start with a short, sharp working session: the goal, the constraints, the metric that decides whether this worked. Everything downstream points back to that.

  2. 02

    Define

We turn the discovery into a written plan: scope, deliverables, timeline, and the moments where you sign off. No surprises, no scope creep.

  3. 03

    Build

We ship in tight increments you can react to, not 6-month black boxes. Each step lands in your inbox with a clear note on what changed and what is next.

  4. 04

    Hand off

You leave with documentation, training, and a system your team can actually run with. We do not build dependence on us as a feature.

What we deliver

Concrete outputs at the end of every project.

  • Positioning + voice guide grounded in the audience
  • Primary logo, reversed variant, and monogram
  • Colour, type, and spacing tokens (design tokens, not screenshots)
  • Templates: deck, document, social, email signature
  • Brand book with usage rules and clear-space diagrams
  • Handoff kit ready for the next designer or developer
FAQs

Questions before you start.

Do I need a rebrand or a refresh?

A refresh is right when the strategy is still true — logo cleanup, tokenised colour system, refreshed templates. A rebrand is right when the audience has shifted, the offer has changed, or the current identity is undermining trust. We run a discovery workshop to decide before proposing either.

Can I just use a template or AI logo maker?

For a hobby side project, yes. For a business that will live under one brand for years, no. Template identities collide with thousands of others in the market and cannot be defended by trademark. AI-generated marks are legally uncertain and rarely survive a real strategy conversation.

What do we get at the end of a brand engagement?

Positioning workbook, primary logo plus reversed variant plus monogram, colour and type and spacing tokens (as design-system code, not just screenshots), templates for deck / document / social / email signature, a brand book with usage rules, and a handoff kit the next designer or developer can pick up.

How long does a brand project take?

A full brand identity project runs six to ten weeks. Strategy discovery lands in two weeks. Identity exploration and revisions take three to four. System build and template rollout runs two to three. We ship in weekly increments you can react to rather than a big reveal at the end.

Do you also build the website for the new brand?

Yes — brand and website land better together. Building the site during the brand engagement means the identity is designed for the surfaces it will actually live on. We scope both under one engagement when you need both, or hand off cleanly to a partner developer if you have one already.
