Mae Beauty Supply
Beauty equipment distributor, Toronto
A production distribution site for a Toronto-based beauty equipment supplier. Product catalog, featured carousel, inquiry drawer, and a full SEO / trust stack tuned for local search and canonical hygiene.
What we did, how we did it, and what changed.
A Toronto beauty equipment supplier needed a distribution site that would read as a considered specialist to the salons and studios they served, not a stock reseller. The product grid had to hold up when copy varied — some products had one-word names, others had two-line hyphenated compounds, and rows kept stepping up and down by a few pixels.
Every product card image container was hard-locked to identical pixel dimensions (h-[360px] md:h-[400px]) with object-cover inside. Eyebrow, name, and tagline rows each reserved minimum heights with line-clamp so short copy still held the frame open. The featured carousel dropped native scroll (which hijacked Windows touchpad axis-lock) for JS-controlled arrows. Full SEO stack from launch day: LocalBusiness JSON-LD with the 20 Bay Street address, www to apex 308 redirect, sitemap, Privacy and Terms pages, Vercel Analytics.
Live at maebeautysupply.us with DNS and SSL configured on both apex and www. No row drift on the product grid, no carousel scroll-hijack, PDP headings no longer wrap mid-word on long product names. Inquiry form pending Resend domain verification.
